I love this bag. It arrived in a huge box and was exactly as described when I opened it. It was flawless - no scuffs or scratches. It is a bit larger than I expected, but I used it as my carry-on on a delta flight with no comment from agents and it easily fit into the overhead compartment. The zipper into the main opening isn't the smoothest, but it is pretty heavy duty and I expect it will last through years of use. I got a TON of stuff into this for my trip - 5 days worth - 5 pairs of pants, 5 dresses, 2 bathing suits, undergarments, a few shirts, and 3 pairs of sandals - tightly rolled and tightly packed, but it all fit nonetheless. The leather is stiff, which I appreciate, as it holds it shape even when the bag is mercilessly stuffed. I applied some bickford leather conditioner to keep it from drying out in between uses. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased, and look forward to traveling in style with this bag for quite some time.PS: the lock's key is TINY and easy to miss if you don't know where to look for it - mine was attached to the tag that was on the handle. The lock is really more aesthetic than functional, but I don't go leaving my things unsupervised so it's not something that is a drawback for me.Good carry on piece for last trip.Bought it for a weekend trip. Came on time and had enough room for the few items takenI just received my leather grip traveling bag. I love it! I haven't packed it yet, but I feel that it shall live up to the task. I like black leather. I feel that I shall have many years of good escapes with this bag. What I don't like about it is that it doesn't have dividers. I can work with this I really am excited about the trips, the escapes, the escapades of the years ahead. Looking forward to sprinting through the airport and just carrying on with this bag.People keep saying this bag is not leather. FALSE. The bag is beautifully made and is authentic leather that has been treated to have a sheen to it. The look is very beautiful. I bought it to carry items to and from my office, and I am a woman. It is large enough and carries a huge load of items. I ordered a handbag to use with it from the same seller. I cannot wait to get it. The bag looks very expensive.I didn't expected this beautiful bag for price like this, I has many leather products which I paid 3 times more and not looking as good as this one.I just came back from a overseas trip I checked in a larger case and this as a carry on which fitted just fine on the over head and eyes catching.My next overseas trip is coming up in mid September I can't wait to show off my bag again. This bag will be my main carry on bag for many years.I travel 6 months of year.Love it.Gorgeous leather bag. Only issue was within the first trip or two, the mechanism that opens and closes the bag broke off. The second one was getting ready to break off also. Positive is the company replaced right away. Negative is it broke so quickly and we were gentle. Hopefully it was just a one time defective thing. We shall see.From the well finished leather, well trimmed edges, nice handle, monster zipper and ability to open the entire bag wide-mouthed, it is an incredible value.
